My thoughts too. It has definitely been stressed on numerous occassions that the concourses would not be breeze block and would be nothing like the typical run of the mill drinking areas. The pictures on here are identical to all the other concourses I've been too.
That's another problem with the England team. The young players are either going to slated for having a bad game and Capello abused for bringing them in too soon, or they'll have a good game and be built up by the media as the great new hope only to be torn apart should they ever make a mistake...
I'd only say the Orient and Bournemouth games were below par. Did well at Bristol Rovers in very poor conditions and restricted Peterborough to 1 goal when they are scoring (and conceding) for fun
A colleague tried to get a ticket on the day they went on sale, queued for 5 hours but didn't get in the first 9,000 allocation. Apparently people could buy up to 8 tickets each. Crawley then applied for an extra 3,000 which have been granted and he has got some of those.
No, not looking forward to it. Having Lampard as captain should be interesting though, at least I might actually notice him for once when he steps up to do the coin toss.
