Chances are Saints will be in the Championship with us next season, hardly a disaster for them. We are unlikely to romp a league like this again for quite sonme time, therefore I'd rather enjoy our brilliant season than try and gloat 24/7 that Southampton FC finished one place below us

It is banter and the "keep us with us" comment should be referred to every now and then as it is funny and Adkins should be reminded of it when we play them at Withdean. But calling Adkins all the names under the sun because of it, "hating" him, and going on about it after EVERY game since then...

Agree with this. Came on here this morning to read some threads about the game but they all seem to be about Adkins and Saints!

Bit of a no-brainer this one!

I thought the pitch was bad, but not so terrible as to stop any sort of passing, and we did seem to move the ball a lot better in the second half, especially when Kish came on and Bennett/Dicker went off. Think most the players are shattered though, Noone probably the only exception.

Think their form in the first few months of the season will be enough to keep them up, but it will be close

Am I missing something? We have equaled a record, not beaten it?! Awesome achievement nonetheless
