I bloody hope so! Unless you're able to confirm either way? If there's any doubt we'll stick with the Arenberg.

Love your enthusiasm Pogue Mahone and Hamilton You were very brave to take it on, respect! My skinny runt of a frame wouldn't last 5 mins on those cobbles. If I get any decent snaps I'll stick them up on here. I got Lars Boom at 25/1, he's down to 18/1 after his half decent shift at Flanders...

Barhatch Lane in Surrey is one of the hardest I've done, tougher than the Beacon/Bostal/Kidds/Cobb from memory. It's the last time I had to consider stopping and walking, only the Tour of Britain crowds kept me going, just couldn't face the shame! A fraction over 20% I think...

Change of plan, we're heading for Carrefour de l'Arbre now. It's closer to the finish so will hopefully be a bit more decisive in terms of the overall race. I've heard it gets quite rowdy there, should be fun!

Sounds like a cracking trip! I'm going too but by car (unfortunately). My first time at Paris-Roubaix so looking forward to it, we're heading straight for the Arenberg.

G-W has been great viewing. Plenty of sprinters still around and Etixx have strength in numbers.

Great find. No doubt the same will happen on the Tour of Britain this year, will be keeping a keen eye on the Ditchling Beacon segment!

The Official 101st Tour de France, thread.

I know he's had more falls this Tour than Geraint Thomas, but Talansky is 66/1 with Paddy Power for todays stage....

I've been underground the past few months! Been a hectic time, moved house and a couple of stag do's and holdiays etc... Passed you a few weeks ago driving in Portslade. Was going to cut you up and scream 'stop cycling up the beacon' but you were too quick for me. As you mentioned, finally...

You certainly will. Let's hope the weather is kind this year. Just taken delivery of a new wheelset. If they don't shave at least one minute off my Beacon time they're going back :)

I had Ewen for company, he's signed up too. Sadly the weather forecast for the next few days is wind, wind, wind. And some rain.

Stopped off at Cafe Velo on the Level today for a post ride coffee and macaroni cheese. Superb. Highly recommended for pre and post ride refreshments. My Strava feed tells me Pogue Mahone and Hamilton smashed out 50+ miles today, good to see everyone taking the Puncheur preparation seriously!
