Lance Armstrong ends fight against doping charges part deux

    Well, who'd have thought it?

To be fair if it wasn't for Virenque et al we wouldn't be using the word Festina on a regular basis. He deserves some sort of payback....

The stand-out riders for me have been G (just epic for nearly all of it), and the Yates boys (one of them ALWAYS in the break, often in the top 10 on stage). The future of British Cycling is bright. Greipel rode as well as expected, and nobody really gave any competition - where were...

Not the done thing, and certainly impossible in a bunch race to take the amount of time needed today on a flat stage. The last time the Yellow Jersey changed hands on the last day in Paris was an individual time trial in 1989. They should do that again!!

Nah, Dan Martin will come in 2nd and bang his bars again. It's his thing, like Cav stopping sprinting just before a line to come 4th... ;)

They could, but it wouldn't stop any of the questioning. I don't think anything would, to be honest. Other riders put the data straight onto Strava, so I'd go with that approach in races for everyone. Training is a bit different.

I can't see this being a day off for anyone - Movistar and Saxo will probably work on the way up (Sky don't need to), Nibali will attack on the descent if he's still racing. Pinot could be allowed to go (if he can!), but any break will only get 3 minutes on the line.

If there is no known cure for cancer and affects 1 in 3

"Chemotherapy" simply means the use of chemicals (ie - drugs) to treat something. Our ability to treat cancers with drugs has improved massively in the last 60 years, as has diagnosis and surgical techniques. 1950's chemotherapy is very different from 2015 chemotherapy, and I know which one I'd...

Is Mo Farah a Drug Cheat?

No, it isn't. It's the lives of the kids who deserve the place in the team that dopers take. It's the lives of the clean athlete what just misses out on qualification for the final, or doesn't get the sponsorship deal because someone else was 'better' than them. It's the 4th place athlete who...

    n2-n-90=0

That could be said about most of the things you learn at school. However, learning to work things out in a logical manner and being able to follow a linear process is really important in life, and that's what this sort of exercise helps to teach. I don't need to read or write for my job - that...

    Car accident advice

This looks like the most likely explanation, and is far too common. Hopefully people reading this will leave that extra bit of space on the road to avoid exactly this situation.

Is it time we had a DNA database for everyone in the UK?

Can you imagine a situation where a country has a government that supports the "genetic purification" of its population? Would you be happy to have your DNA profile available to them?
