    London Marathon

Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated! Nipple and testical regions will be well vaselined!! I've got up to 18 miles in training, so I'm hoping the atmosphere / adrenaline will do the rest. I'll get my 'support team' to be around the 20 mile mark then...if they can stay out the pub long...

    London Marathon

I'm running the marathon this Sunday, and after months of hard work and training (and 5 weeks without a :drink: ) I'm really looking forward to the big day. Just wondered if anyone else on here has taken part before, and how they got on, any last minute advice etc?! I was thinking of running in...

McGhee's public bollocking of the team

I'm glad this has been picked up on. My Dad was giving McPhee all sorts of stick well before Staunton reached the edge of the box. It's hard to excuse that sort of mistake, and what makes it 10 times worse was that he'd only been on the pitch 5 minutes or so. It was his job to track back, and he...

    Which made you most proud?

The play-off final was one of the best days of my life, but football-wise I have never been as proud to support the Albion as I was yesterday. Awesome.

Spurs Tickets - When did you apply ?

Sent my application first class from Horsham the day they went on sale. Just when I had lost all hope, I had a call from the ticket office this afternoon to ask if I would be happy with £37 tickets..apparently they were the last few left.

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

WOOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had a call from the ticket office to see if I was happy with 6 £37 tickets for WHL... I said "can I get back to you in 5, I've just to to check with everyone else" and she said "not really, they're the last ones left" So I said "YES!" Phew, in by the skin...

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

I completely understand where you are coming from, and this SHOULD be a worry for the club. Like you I've had a season ticket since we got back to Brighton (I even had one for our last season at Gillingham, on the understanding we would be back home sooner than we were)...personally I love it...

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

I have written to Martin Perry to express my views on this, something along the lines of my original post...it would be interesting to know why something like this is not in place already, it must surely have been considered...

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

Well in this instance, the 'big game Charlies' look to have denied me a ticket (either that or the postal service), so I am one p!ssed off season ticket holder. I agree the club need to widen their net in preparation for Falmer, but I think it's more important to look after those who are...

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

The way I see it, it's pretty simple - without season ticket sales we would have no team to watch...5,000 season ticket holders (approx) x £425 (approx) = £2,125,000 GUARANTEED income pre-season (+ interest!) = player contract negotiations = half decent team to watch = financial 'security' for...

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

Fair enough KSE, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one then...that's what makes the world go round. Like I said, I'm not claiming to be a better fan than anyone here. I will stand by my view that a fairer policy towards ticket distribution for 'sell-out' away games could be introduced, and...

Nice letter from Martin Perry this morning...

Agree. I don't live in Brighton, so sent my application first class the day the tickets went on sale. Heard nothing - no tickets, no money taken from my account, no nice letter from Martin Perry. A day or two ago the ticket office couldn't even tell me over the phone if they've received my...
