On a positive note , this is without doubt the best Albion side/squad I've ever seen (over 50 seasons of supporting).
On a negative note some of us, of a certain age, think it is about time the Club reached a major trophy final before we shuffle off this mortal coil .
WSU near the back. We have a young guy (early twenties?) who thinks he is in the middle of the North Stand. He constantly swears , hurls abuse at the referee and certain Albion players. I tend to zone out to most of it but he appears to not enjoy a single moment of the games (win or lose) but...
I wanted Newcastle, Wolves , Chelsea and Man U to get through so that fixture congestion plus suspensions ,injuries would hinder them in finishing above us in the League. However, my wishes have fallen on deaf ears so far.
Yes thanks to TheBrightonBear and congratulations to Hamilton.🏉 🏆
A very exciting competition and I was in with a chance of winning it right up to the final seconds - If England had kicked the penalty rather than France at the death I would have won. A big IF i know :giggle:
Great result today but a hard watch.
I understand we are tired and carrying injuries and lack pace etc - but it was a bit grim really.
I thought Verbruggen, Moder, Baleba and Lamptey did especially well
At the game I thought yellow and the Forest player was play acting. However, having now seen it close up on TV - RED
BTW Moder had a good game - which was nice.
I can't see how we can get into Europe next season unless we have a sudden change of form especially away from home.
Home - Forest, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa, Man U , Man C
Away - Liverpool, Brentford, Burnley, Bournemouth, Newcastle.
How many points can we get from that lot ?
Got to put out our strongest side vs Forest and try and keep our excellent home record going.
Forest looked very good against Liverpool and will be pumped up needing points to stay in the PL so a very tough game for us.
