He’s a great keeper playing in the wrong era. If this was the 90’s / 00’s he’d be regarded as one of the best. Because there aren’t many with better shot stopping and he can kick it for miles. I like his antics personally, at least it shows some personality which is often lacking in the modern...

Personally I think Shaw has to start. The balance looked a lot better with a natural left footer at left back. Even a couple of times he got to the byline and stuck some crosses straight in. They came to nothing but it was a good sign of what could be to come

I’d still definitely take our squad over theirs. They’ve got a really strong defence, but the rest of their team isn’t that great (on paper)

Understand the suggestion, but I think his best/favoured position is on the wing. He’s versatile as you’ve well shown but he’s a winger who can play midfield or full back. Rather than a full back/midfielder who could fill a hole on the wing… and I think the last thing we need now is another winger
