[Albion] The waning power of Fortress Amex

How many empty seats today, 4/5 thousand, Easter holidays, poor home form, Covid, not easily passing on your season ticket. No point in boasting how many tickets have been sold when there are so many empty seats every game.

Sounds like an improvement to me.

[Help] Sky/BT Sports & Broadband Haggle

Be interesting how this goes, I am out of contract soon and with the increasing costs of everything I imagine lots of people will be looking to leave or get a big reduction.

[Football] BT Sport saying our atmoshere 'non existent'

I was surprised how many empty seats there were, I thought this would be the highest attended game at the Amex ever. I get people are bored at the moment but the game sold out, loads seemed to have sold on the exchange and there must be loads of neutrals who bought tickets because it’s...

[News] Petrol and diesel £2 per litre by the end of the year?

Why has my BT bill gone up 10%, looks like the water will be similar, I get the gas but it looks like everyone is hiking their bills up as they think they can get away with it.

[Albion] Consistent flow of fans leaving early every game

Well once the new stand is built I’m sure lots more of you will hang around after the final whistle.

    [Finance] Housing Market

Put our 2 bedroom house on the market a few weeks ago for 300k, huge amount of interest mainly from young first time buyers, sold for £335k, absolutely ridiculous amount.

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

I watched the first episode last night and it was a lot better than I thought it would be, I liked the humour in it and good to see the guy from Trapped as the villain, a bit like Fargo, if you enjoyed that give it a go.

I assume the building work between Coldean Lane and the A27 will be student accommodation as well.

Apparently he is Fireman Sam’s son after a secret affair, he keeps causing trouble as a cry for help and to get Fireman Sam’s attention.

    [Brighton] Virgin Active Brighton

Looks like Virgin Active will be gone in a couple of years, the lease is nearly up so Brighton University will be taking over the site and moving departments across from other campuses.

[Albion] Quick question as first game I’ve attended this season today..

From my experience at the Arsenal game 99% of people didn’t wear a mask.

[Football] Drinking in sight of the pitch - a survey

There would be people that would buy 5 pints at 2.45 then try to carry them to their seat to get them through the half, not many perhaps but enough to be a pain.

[Albion] Sky / bt on concourse tvs

It was my first game back Saturday and I was thinking the same thing, had a ticket for East Upper where you would assume fans might be more compliant than in the North but place was rammed and only a couple of masks in sight. I was right on the halfway line, fantastic view and can get the...

[Albion] AMEX era biblically bad weather.

Bournemouth away, 20 years ago maybe, I had a program inside a winter coat, when I got back to the car it had rained so hard that I just had the outer edge left and a massive hole in the middle.

[Albion] Will the ticket exchange open? - yes it will!

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few hundred more to be released, players tickets, comps etc. If this is the case then I can’t see the exchange opening this season except maybe Liverpool.
