    [Albion] Fabian Hürzeler **SINGED 15/06/2024**

Ok i made a mistake by appearing to make a claim, I don't know that we haven't signed him, However, the lack of news strongly suggests (to me at least) that the deal is not yet done. Does that admission help soothe your pedantic mindset?

Absolutely this, if all true we have snatched the manager from a newly promoted club, which could mean they are f***ed for next season. It's how football works but we all know how it feels when it happens. I for one hope TB does the decent thing and helps them out with a bit of extra cash.

I don't think it's pride Potter is a very good coach, however, given the likely depth of dislike for the man at the club given his betrayal, I doubt he would be a good fit anymore. If Potter wanted to come back and TB thought he was the best for the job he would be back, he isn't and that is all...

[Albion] De Zerbi was NOT “sacked”

If that had happened given his principled nature it would have meant that he had agreed to work within the business model and would still be with us. There has never been any suggestion that his behavior was a serious problem, but the squad investment thing had been going on during the previous...

[Albion] De Zerbi was NOT “sacked”

Many of us have said the same. Thank goodness CHA didn't sign him, they would have become unstoppable.

[Albion] De Zerbi was NOT “sacked”

Clearly he was, Trossard and Sanchez didn't spit the dummy in a vacuum.

These are attributes you generally find from a more humanistic standpoint which encompass far more left of centre concepts than right. The confusion arises because anyone who has a modicum of concern for the planet and the life that dwells on it is considered a Marxist by the right wing media...

I just read an Athletic article on him, he sounds like a good balance between Potter and RDZ, not the least is his willingness to work within a budget. Let's hope we get him, work permit has already been approved apparently.

[Politics] Has anyone here made a recent donation to a political party?

Yep, A$50 per month to the Socialist Equality Party https://www.wsws.org/en/special/pages/sep/australia/home.html which is part of the wsws.org I doubt we will ever have a proletariate dictatorship, but I like reading their analysis of current events and history.

[Albion] Are Albion genuinely in danger of being in a relegation battle next season in your opinion

Trossard was replaced by the much better Mitoma and the outstanding improvement in Solly, Good riddance to Maupay, we have Pedro plus Ferguson and Enciso, not to mention Adringa and Welbeck. The midfield took a clouting with Ali Mac and Caidedo and is clearly the area we need to strengthen, the...

Why is this even a question? Ability and availability are all that matter.

[Albion] If Graham Potter is re-appointed...

I was in this camp, but from a purely pragmatic level the availability of decent coaches would appear limited and I was certainly a fan of his coaching ability. As long as the squad can work with him, then I would be ok'ish with it.

In what way, what was the context? Apparently, I am antisemitic because I am anti-zionist. That I am Jewish seems to be irrelevant.

I had no problem with swansman, would happily converse with him. As to Potter, I think he is an excellent coach, let's face it the reason most of us (not including the Potter haters) were so gutted and pissed when he left wasn't that he was shite at his job, had he been we would have been...
