Not watched much of Hungary but I imagined them to be very defensively solid, certainly not the case.... so many errors today.
Nowhere near as bad as Scotland last night though. Hungary could lose to Germany and still beat the Scots by enough to qualify as one of the best 3rd placed teams
I think it's a straight toss up between him and Branthwaite - Southgate seems to favour Dunk but he won't want to take three injured defenders.
I think Branthwaite will be a great defender but at the moment I can see why he'd favour Dunk. Branthwaite has looked good in a Dyche back four (so did...
Not sure it'd be a great move - look at what going to Burnley has done to Trafford...
It's not much fun picking the ball out of your net all season
Big Championship club or a season abroad would suit him better
I think Jofra's case in particular is interesting as he claims to always have wanted to play for England despite being in WI youth set ups. Obviously there is a financial incentive to play for England over the Windies, and the pitches here far better suit his game.
It's a shame for West Indian...
Certainly not as good as his brother but a couple of Sunderland fans I know have been raving about him. At 18 years old he's a very good Championship player with a season and a half of experience, lots of potential.
I'm sure they will overpay though..
Lose Gross and get the managerial appointment wrong and we'd be in for a tough season but I still don't think we'd go down.
Leicester almost certs with PSR, can't see Ipswich or Russell Martin's Southampton finishing above us, then you have Everton, Forest, maybe Wolves with PSR issues.
Beautiful day for some Vitality Blast.
Does anyone know if we’ll see any more of Seales? I know that he’s not in the squad for today but is there a chance he plays at Surrey on Friday? Annoyingly only made it to the Yorkshire match this season so haven’t seen him bowl in the flesh yet
I think we have good players and think it's very unlikely we'd go down even if the manager we get in isn't the most glamorous/exciting!
I hope it's okay to have this opinion and still think the whining and constant rehashing of arguments about who we get in is a bit ridiculous...
xGraham would be a disastrous appointment, it's been done to death but he's not coming back.
FWIW I don't particularly rate Cooper but he wouldn't take us down. We have a strong squad that will be strengthened.
My point was more to do with the fact that the endless speculation and whining...
I may have missed the Neestrup chat but think he's a really good shout.
The Danish league is a higher standard than the Swedish league and it looks as though his style of play would translate to the PL & our squad much better than Rydström's 'relationism' or whatever it's called..
He won the...
