How would that work though? If he's fit he plays the full 90 minutes of every game. He also needs to train with the first team to maintain his fitness and for tactical work etc. If he was playing as many minutes as a Milner/Lallana it could potentially work but not with his current workload.

I disagree... It's probably not the best idea to turn our POTS into a part time coach. Let's keep him playing and training for as long as possible.
