Unfortunately Rushworth is likely to be loaned out and with an injured Verbruggen we look somewhat "thin" for GKs.

do you think the club is changing direction over South American players

enciso. Injury prone
estupian injury prone
buonanote. Out on loan
sarmiento probably out on loan
barco. Out on loan
azate. Gone
pedro…brilliant but possibly injury prone.


players coming in, German, , balkans, dutch, turkeii, African.

possibly just coincidence but I wonder if having a German now in charge, his requirements to the recruitment team are stick with what he knows..

i think you have quite a loose definition of injury-prone. certainly if we take last season out of the equation, that doesn’t hold up

Last week we played Jao Pedro (second striker) and Welbeck(striker). Rutter and Ferguson play second striker and striker respectively.
Four players. Two positions.
Yes we also have Enciso to play second striker and potentially a number of others but still only two full-on strikers. Why would we let one go on loan?

I don’t think so. At least some of these players we’d shown an interest in before FH’s arrival.

It’s more about who’s available that fits the profile. I’m staggered by the business we’ve done this window, and I think it’s going to take some time for the dust to settle and our squad to become visible.

No. People from South America haven't suddenly become injury prone.

No. Bloom's built a first class recruitment system and he's not going to ditch it all because his coach wants to stick with what he knows.

Funny how fans are attached to players and think they are too good to leave.
At this point It wouldn't surprise me at all. i.e Billy Gilmour, good player. But his style of play may just not fit our profile anymore.
