Tempted to just delete this thread if it wasn’t for newbies finding it and reading the OP.
You can't go around doing things like that.

How are we going to find out whether or not he was sacked if you do things like that?

I wonder what Swansman’s @Han Solo ’s verdict on today’s game is.
Good start to the season but was confident we'd win. Was a little worried in the first half but it sorted itself in the end. Why? Did I indicate something else?

No, not at all.

I’m just genuinely curious to read your analysis and comparisons between GP and Hurzeler throughout this season.

That is a great result for the bob the knob, Brest are a good team and were expected to do well this season.
Bit harsh (“Bob the knob”) appreciate you weren’t bothered, but we did all enjoy the European adventure.

Good manager, until he isn’t. As you say good start….

As per FH, it’ll be how he reacts to a defeat, and if he learns/evolves…..
We saw what happened last year with RdZ.

Whether he did well in getting us to Europe is irrelevant to the fact that I think the bloke is a cock.

He was never going to stay here for very long, he never does. I am sure Tony and Paul knew what they were getting, maybe didn’t realise they would have a tiger by the tail! Whatever, I wish him well because I saw the best football I have ever seen played not just by Brighton but probably anyone. I honestly do not remember seeing football like it but it has gone now and we all move on. Trust the management to get a price for him as well. Typical Brighton.

FWIW, I loved the first 18 months of RDZ. We saw some amazing football; going to Amsterdam, taking over the city and spanking Ajax before topping the group was beyond a dream.

But the last three or four months absolutely destroyed his legacy for me. All of us mugs paying through the nose, giving up days of our lives travelling around the country to watch a totally demoralised side get rolled over under the instruction of a manager who obviously wanted out but wouldn't hand in his resignation because he knew we'd force another club to pay through the nose to appoint him subsequently. Injuries crippled us, but he didn't even try to adapt to the situation, just stubbornly stuck to the same system that didn't work with the players we had. One season of success- the foundations of which were put in place by Bloom, Barber & Potter- and he thought he could hold the club hostage, that we would rip up our structure and our philosophy for him. Cheap tricks like getting his agents to plant shite about Bayern, Barca, Liverpool, Chelsea, City fighting each other for him to be their manager because he is so brilliant. Then he turns up at Marseille, signing has-beens and alleged sex offenders, slagging off the club that gave him his break.

f*** RDZ, honestly.
Well put and pretty much how I feel about him.
