What's all this about Brighton players kicking off when brought back after their loans and not being allowed to stay where they were loaned?

Hopefully playing in a relegation scrap, he won't look like a rabbit caught in the headlights like he did away at Luton, and will develop further and show he talents regularly.

Great move!

A young player who won’t be a regular player for us gets lots of PL minutes hopefully helping Leicester take points off other teams we’re in competition against whilst not playing against us directly. If he does well we bring back in a PL ready player next summer or we sell for big bucks. If it doesn’t work out, he’s still young and we either sell or loan out again next year.

I’m absolutely loving our recruitment work this summer, the decisions we’re making are almost exactly what I would have done.

Never mind Moder - would they consider taking Dahoud?
I really don't get why NSC has decided Dahoud is useless. I don't remember anybody saying this before he got sent off at home to Sheff Utd and then RDZ suddenly decided he didn't like him anymore. The guy is at the peak age of his career and has played over 100 games for Dortmund, he clearly isn't shit. Have we really got to the stage where a player like that isn't good enough to play for us?

Well if RDZ didn’t fancy him and FH won’t play him, then yeah I guess that’s a reasonable conclusion. It’s the managers decision and you can’t blame the fans for thinking he probably isn’t good enough for us if he doesn’t get on the pitch.

He wasn't particularly impressive before that either. The game tended to pass him by and he seemed a bit... well, lazy.

There were few, if any, positive comments about him before the sending off. Distinctly meh, in fact. More significantly, I don't remember a single call for de Zerbi to bring him back after his suspension, and I didn't hear even the slightest rumblings of discontent when he was packed off on loan.

We absolutely have got to that stage.

He might be a good player, although his performances for us and his limited game time when he went out on loan would potentially differ, but he isn't the right player for the system. He can pick a pass clearly, but from what I've seen with us, Dortmund and Stuttgart, he doesn't have the mobility/stamina for how I think FH wants to play.

Sad he's leaving for the season but glad he should get more games than he will with us. Playing is more important for him right now after being in and out the last couple of seasons.

Extremely happy there is no option. Expect the club will assume interest in players we're keeping over the course of the season and will be planning for him in the future to fill one of those places, should someone leave next summer.

If he lives up to my expectations and hopes, I don't think anyone will have to leave for him to force himself into our squad as a starter next season

And I wouldn't be completely stunned to see him back in January.

Thought he'd get a lot of game time next season, but happy with this solution.

Useless is a strong word. I'd go for other words like, disinterested, lazy, and weak.

And his barnet is infuriating.

great move for all parties. facundo still playing at an excellent, and no buy-clause, meaning the ball is in our court. quite something when we’re loaning out our young talents to other premier league clubs!

Good option this. I'm not his greatest fan but enough people that have sat in a cold wet stadium as me seem to see something there. It's not really come out yet, but if it does we get him back, if it doesn't, he's had a year of experience. Don't seem a downside.

Hes not a winger and Enciso and Pedro miles ahead of him in and around number 10 and I've not seen anything that suggests he can handle centre mid. If Billy goes as well I can see us getting a relatively big centre mid / playmaker in.
