I'm relaxed if he goes. He's neat and tidy but not much more than that. He has zero goal threat and isn't particularly strong in the challenge. He's a useful squad player here but if his leaving means we can get better players in, I'm all for it.
Pretty much how I feel.

Pretty much my feeling.

A club interested in challenging for a European spot needs more from central midfield than WBG offers.

Good squad player but not a starter.

Which bag of numbers has Crook picked £12m from..the havnt a clue one? £12M.?? 👀
Crook is well-connected at the Albion.

That’s not to say he’s right on this one, but I’d always pay heed to what he says.

This is the entire reason people think we should sell our only established (if Gross leaves) PL level midfielder for peanuts.

In the 7 games Billy missed through injury in February/March, Brighton scored ONE goal.

People don't give a shit about build up and consistently finding passes through the lines. But Tony and any manager does, so people are going to have to live with this Xavi type player who carries games without putting the ball in the net himself.

Nothing to do with the other injured players then?
Were we prolific with Billy in the team towards the end?

The figure is daylight f***ing robbery

Maybe WBG has had a strop?
Let's be honest, any BHAFC would want this move. If he/his agent has been tapped up he's going to push for the move. 12 isn't enough though.

Hard to come to any conclusions on our run in, the manager had gone AWOL in his head and we were decimated with injuries. Actually no, I have come to a conclusion RDZ is not cut out for managing a team where he has to “make do”. Everything that goes wrong is not his fault. Brilliant when things are going well but a stroppy kid when they aren’t. We were better than we finished the season, even with the injuries but if the manager gives up then it’s logical that the players do too.

I'm interested in and following Scarlett Johansson.

Doesn't mean I've got a chance in hell of getting her.

About the same as Napoli and WBG

This. Could say the same thing for Dunk, JPVH, Verbruggen or even Veltman because he only gets one goal a season.

But arguably the same applied in February and March…..
My point is Gilmour was not the factor in us not scoring or playing, some of it was indeed RdZ.

Translation:

Napoli are following Billy Gilmour, Brighton's Scottish midfielder, with interest.

For the English club he is a very important player and at the moment they are not open to listening to offers for him.

Billy Gilmour has a contract expiring in 2026.

Wee Billy is one player we don't want to get his head turned,... his industry and passing is going to be doubly important if Gross goes.

Mats Wieffer and maybe Diego Gomez (after the Olympics) will do that for us. Both big old units who can fall back into Hürzeler’s back 5 when we set-up the low block. Also players who can shoot and assist.

And my point is that missing one of the most successful progressive passers in the league was almost certainly a factor why we spent seven games circulating the ball without finding passes in between the lines.
