Or more likely his feet in the air mid dive.
Heh.
Or more likely his feet in the air mid dive.
We can't let the fact he plays for Palace blind us to how good a player he is.
We can't let the fact he plays for Palace blind us to how good a player he is. He fully deserves this call up due to the stunning form he has been in for our rivals this season. I'm a tad surprised Muzza hasn't been called up as well
Just been named in the england squad for sweden!
Playing well against the likes of Peterborough and Ipswich is not the same as performing against the top sides in the Premiership. If he signed for a Premiership club in January and had a good second half of the season I'd understand the call-up but I think Roy has lost the plot calling up a championship player or maybe it's just a reflection on how the England side is at an all time low.

True, but playing for Palace, he can only beat what's put before him. It's only a friendly and if he plays it will be a real test to see if he actually could hack it against the better defenders.

Putting all the rivalry aside (Palace fan in peace by the way) As England fans do you not want someone exciting on the wing taking on the best defenders in the world and making them look silly wearing the three lions on his shirt?
I honestly don't give a toss if a Brighton player went on to be one of the best players in the world if he was English (ok, a bit Ivorian as well) You may think i'm being deluded but he has been ridiculous this season making defenders that have previously been in the Premiership look very average. It's not a coincidence that the media and people in the know are talking about him. All i'm saying is look beyond your hatred for us and cheer him on as an England player because it would be a real shame if he played for The Ivory coast and not us (England) I honestly believe after watching most of the games he's been in this season he can be world class and help England in their pursuit of major tournament success. Let the hate begin *hides under a table*
