I'm not sure any game has stretched the high and low emotions quite as much as this game, and the stress was so much in the 2nd half that I went to the loo as a head-in-sand exercise, even though i didn't need the loo!

Yep, felt like the longest half time in history. We were down and out. When we scored I think I almost broke some poor schmuck's back.

You know what, that goal did indeed cross my mind as well. Its just such a wonderful fluid move, and I can still remember from my perch in the WSU that rare joy of a PRE-GOAL celebration. Just like that guy in the video who jumped up before Ulloa had netted it, I was already out of my seat with a "YYEEEA...." as soon as I saw the nod-down to Ulloa. Absolutely exquisite. Its definitely up there for me as well.

Has to be Hereford. I literally started seeing stars when that went in, and felt like I was on the point of blacking out. Completely and utterly lost my shit.

Can't foresee a moment that'll equal that (before my clogs are popped) unless Tony's dream of top 10 PL footy becomes a reality and we win a serious gong somewhere along the not too distant line.

McShane v palace was great, I couldnt really celebrate Reinelt's goal in with the Hereford fans.

Toss up between the away game at Croydon in 2005 and the League Cup v Derby at home in 1976 with Wardy scoring after 27 seconds.

There were some great goal celebrations at the Goldstone in the North Stand.

I think my main reaction at Rhino's goal at Hereford was one of relief and the celebrations came at the end of the torture.

Sandaza's late winner v Oldham in the 10/11 season, springs to mind. Gus's team had footballed 'em to death that game and we were looking only on for a point until Fran The Man popped up and Withdean went wild. Only after that did I realise we had gone top (in September) and then stayed there the rest of the season.

Dean Wilkins free kick Vs Ipswich I reckon, that was the first really important Albion goal I witnessed.

Same for me, was at the front of the North and remember us all running onto the pitch going crazy. Still amazes me how he got that in from close to the left touchline with his left foot

Gross against Man Utd in our first PL season which saw us stay up. For once the technology delay worked in it's favour as it built up to it.

Equaliser at Liverpool in the cup to make it 2-2, (1990/91) ended up half a stand away from my seat in the mentalness that ensued, doubly sweet because one particular Scouse copper in the cordon alongside our seats had been winding us up with pro Liverpool comments under his breath the whole match and I screamed ‘Yeeeeessss!’ right in his face as I bundled out into the aisle past him to join in the scenes.

This was the one which sprung to mind for me. The only away match I've been to since I moved to Canada 5 years ago. I definitely picked the right one.

Somehow my glasses ended up 2 rows in front of me during the celebrations for the second goal. I'm not sure how they were still in one piece when I got them back.

Hereford would have been but we were in the seats on the sideline and for me the only way to go completely nuts was when we were able to stand. Top of that list for me was the late, great Paul McCarthy's goal for us when we scored our 3rd and drew 3-3 with Bournemouth at the Goldstone. Not a particularly critical goal or anything but we scored twice in injury time to draw that game. The North Stand went nuts. There used to be good footage of the goal available until the PL nazis took all those videos down.

Another vote from me for Hereford, but yes that game and the equaliser was a very good shout indeed. Ian Chapman's long range effort sparking the comeback in that game has always been one of my favourite Albion memories - I was right behind it in the North Stand. In fact, that whole 6 week period (95/96?) was brilliant. We lost Liam's first home game 1-0, but played so much better than we had been, it almost felt like a win. Then we got the first home win (Bradford/Barnet?), closely followed by the 4-1 at home to Cambridge, the 3-3 against Bournemouth, and then the late winner in a 3-2 comeback win against Blackpool. The North Stand was at its very best over that period.

Yes, agree wholeheartedly. It was a pretty good time. The Cambridge game stood out too.
