In the same boat over in Seaford, just back from casting my vote and hopefully, this time, it wasn't cast into the wind.Voting in lewes so will vote Lib Dem’s as it’s a 2 horse race going for a tactical vote
Well, knowing your location, it would have had to have been a postal vote as I’m pretty sure there is no voting station near you. It’s too late for that. Not voting - promised the mods not to get involved in politics.
Luckily a tactical vote in my area is also my vote of choice.
Me too, are you still East Worthing and Shoreham ? Could be a momentous and historic day today.
Let’s do this!Indeed. Could be great.

I'm a big non-fan of tactical voting.
As far as I'm concerned it is a plague on both the Tory and Labour Houses. A Plague on all anti-Single Market Houses in fact.
In my constituency it is neck and neck between Tory and Labour. And neither got my vote. Lol.
Maybe the loser in the neck and neck race will consider why they failed, and registering my disapproval aids them in their search for answers.
I’d rather vote for someone parachuted in who shares my beliefs than someone who has worked in the NHS for 15 years and not only thinks the Tories are the right answer, but wants to represent them. Does she pay no attention at work?Tom Rutland will win, but he won't be getting my vote.
I just can't support someone parachuted in, with no connection to the area, seemingly with more interest in Westminster than West Sussex.
The largely copy-and-pasted website for his current campaign from his failed attempt to be the Labour candidate in Wycombe was the final straw for me.
He won't need my vote to win though, and Labour won't need EWAS to have a stonking great majority in the Commons.
[Politics] - Does it matter where constituency candidates come from?
Liz from Labour bravely made her way up my drive a few evenings ago to ask me about my voting intentions. I say bravely because Henry, my large Labrador, was barking quite ferociously at her whilst I sat on the doorstep dripping with sweat having just completed a run. Henry's a complete softy...www.northstandchat.com
Voting tactically Lib Dem but still pointless ! Horsham will be Tory I just know it ! Hope I’m wrong

Ultimately the decision to make Tom Rutland the official Labour candidate came down to a vote of Labour Party members. Of the candidates on the shortlist he won that vote. Thats democracy, the voters liked what they saw and heardTom Rutland will win, but he won't be getting my vote.
