So looking forward to the Tory wipeout. My Labour MP is a two faced fecker and had a 70% vote share last time. So I have the freedom to vote with my heart. Well, knowing your location, it would have had to have been a postal vote as I’m pretty sure there is no voting station near you. It’s too late for that.

Having lived in other constituencies where there was little chance of making a difference for most of my life, this will be the first time I will be voting for the candidate I want to win with any expectation that they might.

Tom Rutland will win, but he won't be getting my vote.

I just can't support someone parachuted in, with no connection to the area, seemingly with more interest in Westminster than West Sussex.

The largely copy-and-pasted website for his current campaign from his failed attempt to be the Labour candidate in Wycombe was the final straw for me.

He won't need my vote to win though, and Labour won't need EWAS to have a stonking great majority in the Commons.

A few already saying so and so will definitely win here so I'm voting for someone else. Either vote tactically to oust the scumbags or make absolutely sure that the party you want to win do so by voting for them - don't leave it for someone else, that's exactly what the scumbags want you to do. Did you actually speak to him? I did and put those points to him, he was saying (the cynical amongst you can choose not to believe) that he was here for the long haul....I'm voting Labour for the bigger picture here...The Tories need to be told how far wrong they have gone over the last 10 years at the very least...Someone else needs a chance, and that only chance is Labour. So there is where my vote goes...

Ultimately the decision to make Tom Rutland the official Labour candidate came down to a vote of Labour Party members. Of the candidates on the shortlist he won that vote. Thats democracy, the voters liked what they saw and heard

No need for the sour grapes, you were probably looking for any excuse not to vote Labour anyway.
