Well???

And I must say thank you to NSC and @1066familyman for the sub bass thread that introduced me to my number 1.

Can't wait to see H's :lolol:

My son has UTTERLY ruined these for me, every year. Just a chaotic mess of YouTuber style music, video game soundtracks, the Harlem Shake, etc.

Wish there was an easy way to just go through a list at the end of the year and deselect the ones you don't want considered for your Wrapped.

I know you can do Private sessions etc but can't be bothered to constantly turn that on and off.

I think (hope) that them having separate accounts on the spotify family thing has kept mine clean.

My son and I did make a playlist for our family trip to France which we both just bunged songs into. I'm guessing from that his list will feature Catfish and the Bottlemen and Nirvana among others.

My Tik-Tok watching, K-pop loving daughter who spends hours listening to 80s songs re-voiced by what sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks through her phone can do one though.

Sounds like your son is a fair bit older than mine. Mine is 5 years old and wouldn't understand how to go into a different account etc. He just says to Google "play wee wee song" or something similar. And the Google Home does it, the prick.

My kids have also absolutely ruined mine. My most listened to song is a 'trap remix' of the Among Us theme tune and most listened to artist is Sega Sound Team, the ones that make the Sonic the Hedgehog music 🙃

I had to upgrade to the family plan for a similar reason.

Gather round for story-time.

Late 2017 I meet my girlfriend and like any decent man would I let her have access to my Spotify account. Fast forward to the end of 2019 and Spotify dishes out my Decade Wrapped. I'm excited. I've listened to a lot of music this decade. And I'm a data nerd.

I load it up. I'm expecting Slipknot to be in there. Probably Cymbals Eat Guitars. No. To my shock my Top 5 artists of the decade, the entire decade, were not musicians I listened to. At all.

In the space of two(ish) years my other half had warped "my" listening so thoroughly that "my" Decade Wrapped was actually hers.

I've just about forgiven her.

The Family Plan is worth every penny. We all share our end of year lists with each other, and they are thoroughly untainted.

Blimey, what an absolutely magnificent video. Spellbinding, love it.
Which one? They're both great, for different reasons.

I can't imagine how strong the nostalgia is for the Glue video, for anyone in the rave scene in the 90s.

Rain.

I’ll watch Glue now.

It never crosses my mind to watch videos, being so accustomed to listening to music on Spotify or vinyl. I need to rectify that

I'm generally similar - these videos add another layer of depth to the song though, which I guess is what the best videos do.

Just watched Glue - sent shivers down my spine and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

So many fantastic memories.
