I generally HATE the idea of it.

the old...'Oh Im a brighton fan but I like to see Arsenal/Chelsea/Manure do well etc' thats bollox.

the only over team I follow the progress of (on and off the field) is Wrexham, because since the red card protest in may the two clubs have formed a special bond.

Don't see how people can have "2nd" teams. It's hard enough following one, without the ups and downs of following two.

I have an interest in 6 or 7 clubs. the difference is I don't get bad tempered and refuse to buy sunday papers and watch football on tv if any of them lose. When Brighton lose, it fecks up my weekend completely

I have soft spot for other English teams i.e. Spurs & Doncaster but would have no problem wanting them to lose if it in any way did Brighton a favour (i would never buy another english teams shirt). I do however class Stenhousemuir as my 2nd team, cant tell you why but Ive supported them ever since I can remember and have ordered a replica shirt - although I didnt pay for it as I got it free from Gamebookers! :clap2:

I like to see Finn Harps do well - Donegals only professional team, despite being the home of Irish goalkeeping and the county with the most FAI registered clubs..

Also, Shelbourne, for them letting us watch the Brighton matchs in their club bar.

To explain my second English team:

I was brought up in Lincolnshire, and my first ever match was at Sincil Bank, so they are my second team. The Albion are first because I was brought up by a Brighton fan. So, family first, locality second.

But my second team now are, really, Alloa, because they were my local team when I first moved up here, and I've continued to support them although I've moved away (Alloa's hated local rivals Stirling Albion are now my nearest team; and I'm in Perthshire, so I should support St Johnstone, really). However, I'm just about to move back to within 5 miles of Alloa's ground, so that's that. Up the mighty Wasps!
