Two for me.
1: Watching this in the cinema was just epic, from the crunching of the snow right through, the rest of the film tailed off, but this was epic.

This Happy Breed (1944 B&W film - my favourite film. Based on an original play written by the genius that was Noel Coward, filmed almost entirely in a domestic living room).
Most powerful scene - when a young John Mills (the boy next door) comes home from the navy to tell his neighbours (Robert Newton, Celia Johnson) that their estranged daughter (Queenie) is next door, and that she doesn't want to come in as she doesn't know how she'll be received, and that BTW he has married her.
It reduces me to tears every time - and I've watched this film a lot!

Edward Woodward was a much underrated actor in my view. Final scene of 'The Wicker Man' - quality not that great
It's almost ironic that, when Howie, a man of devout religious belief realises what the islanders intend that he tries to use science to try and convince them that THEIR beliefs are wrong. Think that's what makes it so disturbing.
I'll add to that the last scenes in 'Breaker Morant'

Mine was in a school performance as well. A Harold Pinter play. The one with the two elderly ‘ladies’. I was one of the two and was told it was a powerful performance even though I forgot a chunk of lines. I guess my co-star also put in a powerful performance because it didn’t phase him.
Most of the rest of the posters on this thread appear to have misread the title. I do reserve the right to amend my post if my acting career ever resumes, bearing in mind the ‘of all time’ bit.

Surprised as how much modern stuff there is on here.
Personal favourite is Lee J Cobb in Twelve Angry Men. Absolutely fantastic.
Oh and Marlon Brando in Streetcar.

I tried to add a clip from the Fisher King from youtube. Its not that I can't - there are just too many scenes, the whole film is a power house of emotion.
