This Happy Breed (1944 B&W film - my favourite film. Based on an original play written by the genius that was Noel Coward, filmed almost entirely in a domestic living room).
Most powerful scene - when a young John Mills (the boy next door) comes home from the navy to tell his neighbours (Robert Newton, Celia Johnson) that their estranged daughter (Queenie) is next door, and that she doesn't want to come in as she doesn't know how she'll be received, and that BTW he has married her.
It reduces me to tears every time - and I've watched this film a lot!
I don't have the tech skills to insert a link here.
The final scene in The Wicker Man, when Sergeant Howie (Edward Woodward) realises that he is the virgin sacrifice to be burnt (can't find a proper clip of this scene anywhere).
Also, the 'basement scene' in Pulp Fiction.

Hope this works - the Good Will Hunting park scene. Robin Williams and Matt Damon.
I played the donkey in my Junior School nativity play many, many moons ago. Only piece of acting I ever did due to stage-fright.
I thought this had some of the best acting I had ever seen in it shown earlier this year on channel 4
Surprised as how much modern stuff there is on here.
Personal favourite is Lee J Cobb in Twelve Angry Men. Absolutely fantastic.
Porkies - "has anyone seen Mike Hunt?"
