1940-2006

David L. Woodall, 65, of Jamestown, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, in Hendricks Regional Health Hospital.

Born in Lebanon on Aug. 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph L. Woodall and the late Nancy Ellen Cox Woodall. He married Ruby McKinney at Jamestown Christian Church on Feb. 14, 1964, and she survives.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961. He worked as a Crib Attendant for General Motors Truck and Bus, retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service.

He was a member of the Amo Conservation Bird Dog Club and the Jamestown Christian Church.

Survivors are also children Terry Woodall of Russellville, Mark Woodall and Tammy Hansen of Lebanon and Tina Baggett of Lizton; siblings Lawrence Woodall and Max Woodall of Crawfordsville, Bill Woodall of Indianapolis, Eddie Woodall of Lizton and Blanche Sutherland of Greencastle; grandchildren Reannon Lathem, Amanda Dennis, Rusty Hansen, Zachary Hansen, Jacob Hansen, Alyssa Woodall, Kyla Woodall, Bryce Woodall and Taylor Baggett; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Porter Funeral Home, 315 W. Main St., Jamestown. Services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, Harlan Kincade officiating. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown.
