Yet another NSC’er with a great taste in music. Have you read Marr’s autobio? It’s brilliant.

I found it simultaneously riveting (subject matter) and dull (the writing style).

Enjoyed the early life stuff, the formative years, the organic beginnings of the band, the cross-over with Factory / Tony Wilson / Hacienda / Madchester scene, etc,. Lost interest after a bit in the post Smiths stuff, and don't think I actually read all the way to the end. I might try to find where I left it.

She has interviewed him before and as I alluded to think a strong enough lady with humour to keep GB in his place.

I'm not sure i'd enjoy the exchanges between your choices Ann Widicombe and Hitler though ???
