At my last count I had 2 x tenor saxes, 6 x alto, 1 x soprano, 4 x clarinets, 1 x trumpet, 6 x harmonicas and a set of zurna pipes, throw in a 6 string accoustic and electric piano to complete the set.
Wife thinks I should invest more on the house now !

My son (when asked about music aged 6, in front of a baby grand and guitars) declared he wanted to play drums. To his credit he's nailed it, not quite 15 and heading for grade 7. . . . . He has however been dropping hints about sax for a few years . . . . He doesn't know, but I picked up an alto the other day for him to have a blast. Fingers crossed.

I've always love brass having heard stax soul as a young child, and Sax particularly, Madness, baggy trousers sealed the deal when I was 9!

Still remember writing letter to Santa for a packet of these. I was besides myself with excitement getting them. I just loved the artwork too, still do. A life long fascination with figures/models. Airfix, Hornby, Action Man, Star Wars, Cindy Crawford...

I like playing along with The Return of the Los Palmas 7 and a keyboard player mate is learning it on piano. The plan is to put it together at a gig and see what happens.

As a 9 year old this was my favourite toy by some margin. Just seen one on sale on ebay for £550!
