Welsh lamb...served with potatoes and a range of vegetables that must include roast parsnip...plus of course lashings of gravy and mint sauce.

Goose. Not so much for the meat itself, but the excessive amount of fat, which you can roast your potatoes in.

That said, we had friends round last night, so I cooked lamb shanks in a red wine, honey and orange sauce in the slow cooker for about seven hours during the day. Bloody marvellous they came out.

I cannot stand the taste of Lamb. but no other meat smells as good being cooked.

lamb is at its best when curried, in my opinion.
