For me, has to be Venice.

Travelled to many cities and countries, but Venice stands out, had so many lovely times there with Mrs Shingle.

I’m not enormously well travelled but I like Zadar in Croatia very much.

Berlin and Cologne I enjoyed very much too.

I think Venice is fantastic but for me it would be Rome. Have been there 7/8 times and never been bored. Every corner you turn there’s another historic attraction.

Just googled Zadar, looks really nice, I havent been there though, been to other place on the Dalmation Coast and it's a lovely part of the world.

I visited Zadar last month, I particularly enjoyed the sea organ..

Same here, visited in July. The sea organ is well trippy. Best visited at dusk and just sitting there with a drink imho. I also like the fact that a lot of the “coast” to south and east of the old town is more a harbour wall with swimming pool steps into the Adriatic which people swim off.
