ah there's a blast from the past. Years ago I went up to Barnsley away and stayed up there with relatives. On the Sunday after it was Huddersfield v Bradford at Leeds Road so we went. Scorer of the only goal in a Huddesrfield 1-0 win (should please DtG) ....... Kieran O'Regan

I remember it well.....:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Bradscum are Town's palace!!!!

wardy was my altime favourite and no-one comes close in my eyes ( apart from Guy Butters - really great bloke, good servant and has overcome the boo boys....he is ok in my book)

:love:Danny Wilson
Because he was my hero when I was young and impressionable, and because I once met him at a Junior Seagulls open day, and he was very nice and all round LOVELY
:lolol:

Also John Keeley, and John Byrne, who provided the class in a decent attack with Mike Small.

Has to be Wardy, fer me.

Runners-up would be Dean Saunders, Steve Penney, Terry Connor, 'Nobby' Horton, Steve Foster, Bobby Z and Gary Stevens.

(With a side salad of Sully on the wing, Lawro and Sidwell.)

I would add the most wholehearted player ever to wear the shirt... Michael Robinson (he was also a very good player - better than Zamora or Ward...?)

Garry Nelson and Kevin Bremner, Mike Small and Johnny Byrne and laterly Zamora.

I thought Danny Wilson and Doug Rougvie were great as well.

Gary Hart...always given his all in the 8 years i've been watching them.

Although Doug deserves a mention, if only for his hair!

For me Stuart Munday, his cracker against Leicester was the best Brighton goal I've seen & it was the first time I was thrown out of a football match. (running on the pitch to celebrate)

John Robinson was absolute legend as well, top bloke who was frequently off his nut down the Escape!

Ian Chapman of course.

Mainly because he palyed my position but also because he neever shirked a challenge, always gave 100% and had the best left foot I ever did see.

Got me thinking back to Bobby Smith and Wally Gould - in the division 3 days they were head and shoulders above anything

....for a local boy made good can anyone recall John Templeman - came from Arundel way somewhere if I remember right and was a great servant on the right side of midfield

Has to be Bobby Zamora for me. I had never seen us promoted before and his goals took us to two Championships in two years. Everytime he played, I felt he would score.

Garry Nelson because the bloke is a legend and came along when i was the right sort of age to hero worship. John Keeley is pretty high up there for the same reasons and he is a top bloke from what i remember from my day as mascot way back when
