We allow the cats in and out 24/7. We purchased a smart catflap which uses microchip as ID only letting our moggies in and not the cats from the rest of the street. Fantastic peice of kit, would well recommend. I'd slaughter my beef cattle but only after giving them the best possible care if i was a farmer...

Just on the off chance that you decide to take this career path - you're not allowed to slaughter your own cows, sheep / lambs and pigs if they are to be eaten. They have to be sent to a government licenced slaughter house. Farmed deer on the other hand you can slaughter yourself.

As for cats

2 - both chipped and snipped and allowed in and out 24 hours a day. Only other pet is a rabbit ( the hamster died a couple of months ago and I refuse to let the kids get another one as it was a vile creature ).

She's 16 years old, has had 3 legs from (immediately after) birth and, on top of that particularly distinguishing attribute, she is a female ginger (which is very rare).

She wouldn't allow another animal anywhere near her - she barely tolerates humans!

she sounds like my sort of cat

we have a ginger girl and she unusually is very sweet, she was mauled by 4 dogs and left for stray and came through that.
