A few at most... surely there are more incredible performances from women not being mentioned. ?

Julie Andrews in anything and everything (I fully expect to be slated for this).

Has to be Pee Wee Herman in 'Pee Wee's Big Adventure'. How he was always overlooked for Shakespeare and Chekhov I will never understand.

Jack Palance was always worth a viewing. I remember the film "Sign Of The Pagan" when playing "Attila The Hun" he stole the movie from the "star" Jeff Chandler.
