I think Sanchez would probably be quite tasty in a fight. He'd be very languidly calm about taking you apart at the kneecaps while you weren't looking.

picking seven I'm going for Sanchez Dunk and Webster as the big units charging in, Veltman and Gross following with some clinical malevolence, Caicedo dealing with anyone trying to get behind and MacAllister roaming as needed.

If I'm picking an eighth Enciso is finishing off anyone half down.

Scored the game winning goal.

Or.

Thrown a sack of kittens into a river.

You decide.

One slight problem going forward.

At some point Mitoma has got to front up to this little ray of sunshine.
All of a sudden I'm rather pleased the German selectors don't know shite about football.

I've just listened to The Tuesday Club podcast (Alan Davies, Arsenal).
Anyway Tony Adams philosophy, as he told it to AD was:-

A teams not a team until you have at least 7.

The 7 in question, are not English, drinkers, gamblers, jailbirds, centre backs, or anything else you'd associate with TA. But what Gary Hart alluded to on Roar.

A teams not a team until you have at least 7 players prepared to fight the opposition in the tunnel.

So who were the other 5 from our starters, last season?
That sounds just like a philosophy Micky Adams would have drilled into his players.

Sorry, only ten years late in replying to the post.

It does hold up.
You only have to dig deep into this thread to find our weakest 7 coincides with Sami's hiding to nothing.

Veltman first up - the silent assassin would take out their Top Boy without anyone noticing.

Ref would no doubt wave play on as he was writhing on the ground.

While taking great delight in rewatching the game it's occuring to me:-

We're a team full of shitehouses.

I'm yet to see an Albion player miss a tactical foul, not kick the ball away, draw a foul, sneak an elbow to the head.

A tremendous effort by all concerned...

...and Veltman hasn't even come on yet.

We have Solly taking out breaking midfielders and Lewis in the ref's ear. At last

The big dog has just come on.

Gonna start watching in slo-mo to see if I can spot the exact moment the child Doak shat himself.

Hmmmm, somewhat of a superfluous bounce - so the post counters can furiously masturbate over this one!

But nevertheless this thread has been posted in the wake of the last 20 windows slamming shut with one simple question:-

Where are we now?

I only counted 6 (six) poor form.

Steele was slow off his line.
Enciso pushing for a start next season.
I'm sure Groß was gutted to have missed it.
