Did you actually watch the same game?

I thought Vicente was slightly off it yesterday, lost possession and was out-muscled FAR too easily.

I thought CMS was really lively when he came on, causing lots of problems with his pace.

Funny old game innit

Agree. Not Vicente's best performance by a long shot. Some utter class moments, but most the things he tried didn't quite come off unfortunately. CMS was a menance down the right wing when he came on.

I thought it was a split between Navarro and El-Abd. I think El-Abd shaded it though for me.

Again agree it was between El-abd and Navarro, but Navarro just shaded it for me

Navarro for me. At time there were too many gaps through the middle but he made important challenges and his passing is getting much better.

For me El-Abd let them take pop shots way too much.

Navs for me too. I was perhaps watching him more than usual for some reason, but his energy, work rate, solid tackling and good distribution made it an all round good performance, he really has improved as the season has gone on. They handled Vicente brilliantly I thought, totally shut down his space, and unfortunately, until LuaLua came on, we didn't exploit the space that was inevitably left by that.
