Rules are simple. Make a sweeping statement that highlights if someone is to emotionally involved with the blue and white.

You have spent many a night wandering where Emeka Ifejiagwa is now and what might have been had he stayed beyond those two wonderful games.

You haven't driven down the section of Old Shoreham Road between Goldstone Crescent and Sackville Road in 11 years 4 months and 15 days.

The mention of Phil Prosser, Michael Keane or Scott McGleish puts you into a bad mood immediately.

When "All things Bright and Beautiful" is played at funerals - you sing extra loud ...

And if you are unfortunate to have been driven (taxi) down the Old Shoreham Road ... you close your eyes and ask the taxi driver to let you know when you're in the clear...

And for many years before that you stood on open air, crumbling, sloping terraces midwinter at the mercy of mother nature at the Goldstone...

Amazing how time mellows feelings. I never remember being cold at the Goldstone. Apart from the Sudbury Town match, when I thought I had lost a toe to frostbite.

For some reason I allways feel the cold more when i'm sitting down than I do when i'm standing up.

When you have GOSBTS as your ringtone and the CLUB BADGE as the wallpaper. Oh, & you're convinced you'll recognise your fone going off during a match. And you lose your mobile in South London & you hope a kindly person will send it back to you..
