Nope, but I do like a nice thick pork chop, if that helps, as most likely did most of your ancestors. It's a HUMAN BEING thing.

so is pedophilia, it just some of us are more intelligent than others !!!

hmm...wasn't expecting the argument to take that particular direction. That's quite a robust view of carnivores you take there.

I'm getting outta here before the inevitable binfest.

humanely and painlessly, to kill an animal in its prime ???

can you see the difference, or is it just hypocritically easier for you ???

and dont call me immature just because your to lazy to walk past kfc for your food !!!

Humans are omnivores, they are designed to eat meat as well as plants. To do this, we have to kill things. Thankfully our society's evolved to the point that we can do this without causing unnecessary suffering to the animals involved. The lamb in this case likely wouldn't have existed in the first place were it not for the fact that it has been farmed for food anyway.

And I don't like KFC either.

Because I think animals should have a good life before HAVING ENSURED THE INDIVIDUAL ANIMAL'S EXISTENCE IN THE FIRST PLACE we then do as we intended to do with it by killing it painlessly and eating it.

Wicked! The old "designed to eat meat" argument. Right up there with the "they weren't born 'ere, so ship 'em out" and "designed to drive 4x4s/live in caves/pay money to watch Michael Mahoney-Johnson" arguments. And what percentage of the meat you and your family eat (assuming you are a meaty) do you reckon is procured in the manner you suggest?

I'm out before this gets predictably retarded, by the way. I'm thick as shit and not even veggie for ethical reasons, but I'd rather smash a lamb in the face than eat 99% of the meat in the world right now.

Well we are designed to eat meat, it's a fact. And as myself and my family are fortunate enough to be able to afford humanely reared meat, that is what we eat.

I Read something in the paper yesterday about some 25 year old prick who hung his dog and made sure its hind legs were touching the ground so it would only die when it couldnt stand anylonger AND HE Tried to blame his MUM!
He only got 6 months ....infuriates me how if someone does this to an animal he gets 6 months but a human is life?
Some people are just disgusting cruel minded low lives

So Redland, you cant see a difference between a bolt through the head leading to instant death and a kick to a limb leanding to a painful break? you'd rather we meat eaters would just stroll out, kick the shit out of a cow, sheep, chicken before eating it? because we will carry on eating meat.

yes I do BUT I don't really see the hypocritical point of view were as meat eaters will be shocked at a lamb having been hurt its its life before its served up for a luncheon for them..

Not really
Since cavemen times humans have eaten meat and we probably all wouldnt be here now if it wasnt for them, they are there to provide a food source and its must be our natural instincts because the first human beings ate meat
But there a huge difference between killing it quickly and kicking it in the leg i think.

seems you've acknowledges its not actually hypocritical at all since they are different. naive prehaps as few meater eaters think much about the food they eat, but its hardly hypocritical to recognise a difference between efficient killing on the one hand and unnecessary suffering on the other.

I'm not sure we are. We don't have claws & fangs plus our intestinal tract is much longer then that of other carnivores.
Also where other animals have evolved to be able to meat raw, we have to cook it.

As for abbatoir killing methods being more humane nowadays, not on your nelly. Skinning and gutting while still alive is still commonplace as investigations recently by tree hugger groups Have proven.

If animals were able to talk, which prolly isn't far off for them on the evolutationary cycle, they'll ask not to be killed then folk will start arguing they have rights.

Man I just realised how stoned I am tonight.
