Very strange appointment- one existing player would be a risk, but two?

No as in Judas who was popular at Albion when he left (despite being crap) but has since done his best to wind up our fans when we have played Yeovil.

hardly makes him a judas does it?

he's just a ridiculously passionate player who shows it in sometimes an over the top way, as was the case at huish park last season. and as for being crap - well, he would walk into our team at the minute. but i guess that isnt really saying much

At Yeovil this season was not passionate. He dived to get Anyinsah sent off, taunted the Albion fans throughout the game and then mocked us by applauding as he went off. That is not passionate, it is being a prick.

As for getting into our side now, McNulty was first choice for Stockport so would be ahead at left back and Carole would be ahead of him on the left wing (in my midfield anyway). It may not make him judas but it does mean I hope he fails.

i didnt go to the game at yeovil this year, as two defeats in two seasons there was depressing enough, so cant really comment on what went on. i was basing the passionate thing on the previous year, when everyone just seemed to completely over-react over the celebration of a goal

would still have jones in our team wide on the left, with carole wide on the right. two RAMPAGING wide men and we would sail up the league

whenever i had the pleasure of talking to him before, he was always a nice bloke who had a lot of time for the fans. throw in his step over, the array of different hair styles, and i consider him to be one of the FLAIREST players i have had the honour to see play. would take him back in a SECOND

This is a bizarre move by Yeovil. But who knows, maybe it will set the tone for managerial changes in future? Especially for lower league teams. It's certainly a HUGE gamble, and leap of faith by the chairmen and the board. But I'm sure it's going to be a very popular decision with their fans...

It also adds a bit of extra SPICE when Yeovil come to Withers. Because even if that Skippy Welsh twat is not playing, I will still get my chance to BOO him!

It's decisions like these that make you question the attitude of football fans nowadays. It's possible that Skiverton and Jones will be successful, but as it is I simply fail to see why the club would consider these two as a better chance of keeping Yeovil safey in League 1. Bizarre.

Could be for economic/ financial reasons as Slade had begun to pull them clear but by sacking him and appointing 2 existing employee they save a wage, especially if they do not have to pay him much compensation.

It is strange allthough I do recall it's worked quite well at Charlton when they appointed Alan Curbishley and steve Gritt as joint managers a number of years ago.

judas - as in the judas whose contract wasn't renewed?

Well, maybe 'Judas' was a tad inappropriate - but as Finchley has said: his unwarranted, snide celebrations in the last 2 seasons against us have left me with a bad opinion of him now. Additionally, faking a kick in the head in order to get Anyinsah sent off this year was a disgrace. It's a great shame he's decided to behave this way towards us - as he always seemed to have a sound relationship with us supporters when he was here. Hey ho, there's plenty of others like it in the game these days.

ps Congrat's on the 20'000 posts Mr M: always enjoy havin' a butchers' at your contributions.
