There was much more to the Slade sacking than simply performances, as Yeovil had recently strung a few wins together.
The suggestion is that he'd fallen out with the board, big time.
Curbishley/Gritt doesn't quite stack up as an example as they weren't both players at the time. Skiverton and Jones are: I'd have thought it was tough enough being objective in terms of picking yourself, without having two players in that position.
