part of me wants to take the authors of the PSR regs out back and shoot them.
Wouldn't say that out loud in front of the Newcastle board, if I was you.

Most of the replies moaning about how FFP has screwed them over. They spent millions, got a Champions League place. FFS these fans are already Top 6 arseholes.
It’s not just the top 6 arseholes - see Everton fans. Blame everyone instead of looking closer to home at their own incompetent, cheating owners.

Part of me is pleased to hear he looks good for you and will be a part of the first team instead of warming the bench, part of me wants to take the authors of the PSR regs out back and shoot them.

He was supposed to be the answer to our RW problem, but instead we've had to sell him (and Anderson). Dagnabbit

Neither Newcastle nor Everton finished in the top 6 of the EPL last season, so I can only assume there is a separate league, ranking arseholeness. If so, am I correct in thinking Chelsea are #1 and what are the rest of the official top 6?

He looks very promising, strong, quick. I did a sharp inhale when I heard the fee when he signed, given his very limited number of appearances, but this is a world where Max Kilman is worth £40m, so I think perhaps I’m just not up with the times when it comes to fees.

Well taken goal today

"Some will question the legitimacy of spending rules that prevent a club with owners as rich as Newcastle's from spending those riches without selling two of their finest young talents."

On the other hand, some people will find it hilarious. :lolol:

I don't think having a local paper banging the drum is doing anyone any good.

Toon fans don't need any more excuses to abandon the real world for some indulgent self centred fantasy

To be fair to the writer, the next line says “Others will argue that Newcastle knew the rules and should never have been in a position where they had to do so.”.

That said, I think I prefer your version😊

This whole thing is quite funny for a couple of reasons:

1. The whole 'boohoo we had to sell a player because we spanked loads in the last few windows' thing.

2. He's scored one goal in a pre-season game ffs... But you can guarantee they'll be churning out an article about how unfair everything is every time he has a good game for us.
