If he fails, do we add him to the
list of disasters we’ve signed from the Dutch league, or does he not count as he was only on loan to Feyenoord from Newcastle 🤣🤣

I won't moan as we desperately need players in. But it doesnt quite sit right to be paying 30m for him. We should have been the ones paying 6m a year ago.

Hope our recruitment department are still in top shape ?!
Yeah. I’m not moaning either but I don’t think this is necessarily the position that needed filling the most. Sure we have plans to fill the RB and MF gaps.

Keeping everything crossed that this guy is mustard. But if you'd said to me last week that club x bought an unknown but promising kid, loaned him out for a year and now stand to make a 20m+ profit by selling him to club y, I'd be thinking TB's done it again.

Exactly how I feel about this one. I am somewhat surprised TB has placed such a big bet on this one. It does suggest that one or more of our fragile wingers may be on their way, although this guy has had his own injury problems so maybe the hope is that one or two of them will be available each week.

No, this is still standard Brighton stuff. It’s just a wierd PSR anomaly that we’re actually signing him from Newcastle. If we were signing him from Feyenoord direct based on his last season, we’d be paying £30m.

He’s only 19 still, with the potential he has, if he does well in the PL and we were to sell him to a bigger club in the future, it will be for 2 or 3 times what we’re paying for him.

What's not to like? An excellent up and coming winger that everyone was after. NICE. My biggest issue is trying to not say his second name in a mancunian accent every time.

A right back and AT LEAST one centre mid now please uncle Tony.

As videos go, the two above are seriously impressive.
We're getting a teenager with serious pace, who puts defenders on their backsides, has played at the African Championship of Nations, played and scored in the Champions League, has learned to speak fluent English and also creates and scores goals.
We're buying an upgraded Anthony Knockeart.

This lad looks the real deal. He's my player of the month for October. (I'm allowing him August and September to work his way into the starting XI).

Is the number 30 shirt number taken yet at Brighton?
