With the likes of Rutter, Webster and Welbeck we have some great positive role models.
We may get into Europe, we may not. But I do feel we have a very honest, hardworking squad and Yakuba Minteh is a vital part of that.
Hopefully put only Pedro in the window, and perhaps Buonanotte. His attitude and character is lovely to see, same for Rutter. We recruited very well with those. I think we need to close the shop over the summer and then Europe is a possibility.
I also noticed that and thought I might be imaging it.Minteh Cam on Albion Play
This video is a joy to behold and makes me realise even more what a top player and lovely person we have signed.
He is still only 20 years old.
We all know how hard he works in defence as well as attack. But his body language with his colleagues show what a team player he is. After his first goal, at the end of his celebration he made a point of finding Welbeck to give him a hug for providing the assist.
He also went over to find Pedro on the substitutes bench to give him a hug and make him feel included.
He even acknowledged Cucurella towards the end of the game to acknowledge the battle he had been in with him (and won handsomely).
I also enjoyed the bit when he was substituted just before the end and was running off, and Ayari seemed to tell him to slow things down, so he immediately changed to a slow walk to waste a few seconds.

Thank you Newcastle.
