This is indeed absolute garbage of the highest order. Boo hoo! every few seconds "We're doing this for ours mums!". Give me strength. Surely they can't keep bringing this tired format back year after year. At least in the past they had the odd act with genuine talent.

All the time you turn these votes over to the general public who can't see past all the showbiz rubbish, your always going to get the same type of act coming through those doors year after year.

We know the story, and we know what happens next. The winners will turn up in next years show promoting their new manufactured album. If these new winners fail SC will dispose of them, because he has another load of suckers for next years show waiting to fill their place.

The best show was this on channel4. At least everyone came to the stage with something different, new sounds and proper talent. Its a shame this sort of thing cannot crossover, but you would not get the people voting.

For what is probably the biggest show on TV are Coldplay the biggest act they could get fpr the main performance?

Dont get me wrong I quite like Coldplay but I'd expect someone bigger than them for this.

Coldplay are the biggest group/live act in the World at the moment. Who did you expect Elvis Presley or maybe the Beatles ?

Coldplay detractors saying they were shit are just making complete fools of themselves. I mean, seriously ?. Ok, say, not my cup of tea or a don't like their songs but shit, er no, they are one of the best, if not the best live group in the World who deliver a fantastic show with supreme musicianship that made the X Factor acts look like the pretenders they are.

I read that somewhere as well. Didn't he write Cardle's last year? This year's is a Damien Rice one though.

I heard the song on the radio this morning and if the presenters hadn't said anything I would have sworn it was sung by a weak voiced solo artist. At no point during the song do you get any sense it is being sung by a group, dreary monotone throughout.

The karaoke bar on the pier does that.

Little Mix destroyed Marcus Collins so at least the right act won. Collins is destined for a stint at Butlins next year and then back to the hairdressing.
