Yes, I’m no Rambo, but would like the chance to inflict death on someone hell bent on killing me and mine
But that’s the problem isn’t it. Most people aren’t hell bent and the fact that you’re glorifying killing people isn’t a positive thing. Most are fed propaganda by rich people who want more wealth and power, who have their own interests, and they lap up the idea of fighting their war, pretending they’re doing something honorable, when in fact they’re doing no such thing. I hoped the world would know better by now, but it seems we’re all being as stupid as we were in the previous wars and conflicts, and for what? The ego of a Russian president and an American president?

Daft comment (“You’re glorifying war…”) not least because I’m not and likely know more about than you. Regardless, if you’re happy for a foreign power to take your life without a fight then that’s your decision. Mine would be different, that’s all.

On the ocean wave
We have Ukrainian's working here who are living in Romania & Poland, as they can't go home because they would be conscripted to fight.
They are relatively young & strong. I know, hand on heart, without a doubt, I'd be there fighting.
They say they are working for their family. Sometimes you need to fight for you family.

The Fatherland
Maybe not on the front line, but I’d be happy to entertain the troops.

Having already done it, I would do it again in a heartbeat. The Falklands felt like a proper war, literally fighting for your country and feeling proud of what you were doing. Totally different emotions to being down the Gulf peacekeeping. We were tasked with keeping the straits of Hormuz open so oil tankers could pass through safely. That felt more like just doing your job even though there was a war going on.
