at home
Chelsea at Home - Joey Jones and Chris Hutchens bouncing up and down in front of the lego stand winding up the hoards of low life.

Tottenham at home 3-1 dreadful trouble at that game.

Arsenal when their massed ranks took the North Stand

West Ham - terrible trouble almost every time they visited at teh Goldstone

Millwall - Evening game late 70's -surgical masks, F Troop etc etc

Spot the link?

All cockneys??
I also remember the fridays nights before the matches were quite lively,
Leeds came unstuck a couple of times then.
oxford away was another, kicking off in town about 10 mins before half time.bet hove station could tell a few tales too, if it wasnt made of brick and could speak:jester:

I would Argue that Arsenal never ran amok in or out of the Goldstome. In comparison to the ugly mobs referred to in the same post they did not even merit a mention. Our friends from Croydon caused more problem than Arsenal.

Was the Oxford game the one where the police escorted us back to the station after the game?

Just mention that as the Cardinal managed to walk into a police horse.

Aldershot away was pretty tasty in F.A Cup as far as recent years go

As mentioned on another thread....

Strangest though has to be away at Aldershot in the cup a few years back. I went to the game with a couple of Aldershot supporting mates, and was in the Aldershot pub that was attacked by Brighton. Bit odd being in a pub being attacked by your own lot!

Canvey Island in the cup was a pretty good one with the pikeys lobbing bricks at anything that moved!

Also they got us back to the station and the Oxford fans had got on to the railway line and were trying to get on to the platform.

Must start writing the Cardinals Memoirs;

Tear Gas and Taxmen: - A Cardinals Tale.
