Evidence?Nothing wrong with Thatcher
I wish I had your confidence.Truss is the worst.
Boris and DC did the most damage.
Sunak is the best in that he’ll see them out power for many a year.
What was his role in the 'Dodgy Dossier' revelations and what did he know about the circumstances leading to the death of Dr David Kelly? And once again on this same thread, what is this criminal act ?
Sadly there is . . . . Although rats are leaving the sinking ship at a pace. Not these days there isn’t.
Huge oil revenue out of the North sea and a decade long fire sale of public assets. Where did all the money go?Nothing wrong with Thatcher
But not one court, domestic or international has charged him with being a war criminal? What was his role in the 'Dodgy Dossier' revelations and what did he know about the circumstances leading to the death of Dr David Kelly?
No. No they have not.But not one court, domestic or international has charged him with being a war criminal?
So you agree he isn't a war criminal? No. No they have not.
Which of the others on the list wouldn’t have done what he did?Bliar... as he is a war criminal.
Well....Cameroon used a promise of a referendum (which he thought he would win) to curry votes in a general election from people who would vote tory anyway, plus the Brexit labour wankers who he hoped would switch to help him become PM.I've never understood this point of view, so maybe you can help me out, H. Cameron was effectively on the losing team and the referendum was effectively the dreaded 'vote of confidence' in him and his leadership. In my opinion, he couldn't have carried on because he would be trying to implement something that he (apparently) didn't believe was the right thing to do for the future of the country. And yes, he called the election, but the people voted for it. If they REALLY didn't want it, the result would be a bit different to 52:48.
I get that it looks like he walked away – "to Nice, wiv 'is trotters up. (TWAT!)" – but can you imagine the pro-Brexit lot being happy about him leading us out of Europe when he wanted to keep us in? He was on borrowed time and if he hadn't have jumped, he would've been pushed. The following years have shown there's no shortage of fellow MPs who are willing to fack over members of their own party.
BTW: Please don't take any of that as a defence of the guy. I generally can't really contain my indifference about politics, but I just think, objectively, it's not as clear cut as being solely down to him.
Not as bad as Blair then, I mean, that's not a war crime is it, dragging the country down a shitty alleyway worse than has been seen since 1941. Just a mere coincidence.Well....Cameroon used a promise of a referendum (which he thought he would win) to curry votes in a general election from people who would vote tory anyway, plus the Brexit labour wankers who he hoped would switch to help him become PM.
Great plan. OK, referendum then....
But he cocked up the referendum rubric (50:50), But he was PM. Lead on, whatever.
He should have been prepared to lead the country into Brexit if Brexit won.
But instead he f***ed off.
Contemptible dilettante 'leadership'. In every respect.
welfare payments and tax cuts.Huge oil revenue out of the North sea and a decade long fire sale of public assets. Where did all the money go?
But Blair didn't commit a war crime unless you have some evidence no one else has been able to consider. Not as bad as Blair then, I mean, that's not a war crime is it, dragging the country down a shitty alleyway worse than has been seen since 1941. Just a mere coincidence.
Blair got elected and actually achieved things. Good things that helped thousands if not millions of people. In Thatcher’s own words, her greatest legacy was Tony Blair and New Labour.
Blair is the worst Prime Minister by miles because he abandoned most of the principles of the party he was leader of.
I didn’t like any of the Tory ones but at least they remained true to Tory principles.
Disagree strongly!!!!!!! It’s all her fault!Nothing wrong with Thatcher
But that's my point - how could he, when he'd nailed his colours to the pro-EU mast? I can't actually think of a decent analogy, but I'm sure there is one. I still maintain he would've been forced out anyway within months of he'd carried on.Well....Cameroon used a promise of a referendum (which he thought he would win) to curry votes in a general election from people who would vote tory anyway, plus the Brexit labour wankers who he hoped would switch to help him become PM.

You are absolutely correctBut that's my point - how could he, when he'd nailed his colours to the pro-EU mast? I can't actually think of a decent analogy, but I'm sure there is one. I still maintain he would've been forced out anyway within months of he'd carried on.
