oh my lord!, almost as bad as Neneh Cherry's version of 'Slow Train to Dawn', Didn't know you were a fan, you going sat?

Major fan mate..i think Nenah Cherry is in the slow train to dawn video, where she's tied to some rails and he's belting along driving the steam train towards her, only for (spoiler) a little toy train to pass her at the end..think she did the femail vocals too but can't imagine her singing a full version to be much kop!

Yeah, i'm going Saturday..givus a txt if you're having a beer before

Alexandra Burke doing Hallelujah.

Truly dreadful - just when you think that it can't go any more over the top it does.

Springsteen fans - listen to Hank Williams III's cover of "Atlantic City" and weep.

i don't know if this can be classed as a cover version as they have pretty much butchered the original, but this has got to be one of the worst -

such a shame as i like a few of the artists on there and its for charity but this is truly horrendous!

f*** me gently with a sledgehammer, that is truly the distilled essence of rancid shit from a cancerous bowel

With the various mentions of this song i'm surprised no-one else has posted this utter atrocity yet

Then there is this live cover i remember reading about - thankfully the whole thing doesn't seem to exist

The review I read said she sang "I am an anarchist/I am a sporty spice"

But that's not the only or most appalling cover of that song

And straight from the jaw hits the floor department, if you were ever into Public Enemy look away now..

Worthing
Sorry to dig up old threads, but I needed to know I wasn't the only person driven to despair by this cover. Why does this genre exist? The fact that they changed the lyrics to 'There's a f***ing fire, burning in my heart' makes it all the more cringeworthy for me.

Worse than Usher in my opinion.
