I think May’s ministerial history of trying to abolish the human rights act is verging in evil. Luckily she’s an incompetent ****wit and has never been able to put this through.

Fair point but working in the engineering industry during Thatchers time I saw up close what her policies did to decent hard working people.

Thatcher was evil. People who remember her fondly either didn’t bear the brunt of her tyranny or simply remember a time that didn’t really exist.
Many claim her greatest achievement was fronting up to the Argentinians. Actually her words to her cabinet were along the lines of “let’s not waste our time and money defending that ghastly place”
It was her ministers that persuaded her a show of force out there would guarantee her another term in power.

Let's not forgot that her government were also trying their hardest to bin the place too and take away the Falklanders full citizenship.

She would have much harshly treated by the press regarding the Falklands today.

Indeed. Previous labour governments had sent the gunships south each time brer Argie **** had started a commotion. Said Argies trotted home. Nothing said. She couldn't be bothered, and luck and malice (Belgrano) saved her.

I 'voted' Cameron for his careless incompetance, but Thatcher was truly a ****ing disgrace. Literally an enemy of the people. The Falklands fallen died to save her face.
