But guitars are most definitely! There I've said it!
Fenders are sexy!
99 out of 100 of you won't find either of these cars at all sexy, particularly the first one, but l did! At least too, they are/were cars affordable to the average motorist, so no Ferraris, Lamborghinis or Bentleys here.
As a young driver, and having just passed my test, my father passed on his aging but much loved Hillman Imp to me, a wonderful car, good clean lines, easy to maintain, and most important to me at that stage, it went like a bomb! It didn't sell nearly so well as it's rival the Morris/Austin Mini, but was far sexier looking in my opinion.
Sometime later l owned three French cars, two Citroens, a GS and a BX, and then a Peugeo 407 all of which l was really fond of. The latter two particularly, with their sexy sleek lines, and the Citroens both with Hydropneumatic suspension.
Hillman and the Rootes Group have long since faded away of course, and French cars for me just don't cut the mustard anymore, as all three manufacturers, Citroen, Peugeot, and Renault have all become somewhat mainstream in design now.
Cars aren't sexy.
There, I've said it!
Had a mate with a green Hillman Imp. It was great fun. Citroens? DS, Citroen Maserati and 2CV I loved, the modern stuff from them and all French makers except Alpine is all beige bland like most cars imo
As well as my Citroen DSs, GS and CXs, I also had a Singer Chamois for a few months. Rebadged Imp and a lot more fun than I was expecting. Those ally block engines were pretty damn good, even if they were stuck at the back.
So good they went bust
I liked Saabs but Alfas are God’s gift to petrolheads
