Fantastic result, lovely to see the Japanese fans having fun...love the manager in his three piece suit.. Spain will learn from this, its not over for them but they have had a wake up call. Good/Good for both teams.

Half empty stadia, Qatar being wank in the first game and half their "fans" all stupidly choreographed and the other half f***ing off home on the hour.

I KNEW this World Cup would be shit.

Indeed - Basically, you have to take the whole volume of the ball (not the grass contact bit) and looker at the wider part of the sphere - it was still close though

Germany score again - they need Spain to score here to go through (I think?)
So in real play , linesmen allow for the ball to be 6 inches or more off the line as they know from above it will show on the line ?

Spain have played a bilnder. Marocco followed by Portugal, instead of Croatia followed by Brazil.

A Brighton player having a key role in knocking Germany out of the World Cup at the Group Stage.

I love it.

They clearly should've taken Pascal. ;)

A
Japan have beaten SPAIN and GERMANY (and lost to Costa Rica).

The term 'WTF?' seems so inadequate.
Japan are contenders in my view. They are a proper team. Look at the way they defended there - Spain had all the play after going behind and created one half chance when the ball popped up off the keeper. Meanwhile they score goals and are full of energy.

I think they'll do a job on Croatia.

I haven't fully checked, but I think Spain finishing 2nd in the group potentially chucks them over on the Brazil half of the draw if Brazil win their group?

For us it likely means route to final of Senegal, France, Croatia, then beat Brazil or Spain in the final.

Easy peasy :lolol:
