A thought which actually occurred earlier, is tonight’s game the first ever December fixture for the England mens team?
Agree - really creates the space for Bellingham and Henderson to get forward.Kane as a ‘false 9’ works a treat. Far better than the lone striker role up against two pacey CB’s. He’s great at playing in team mates.
I’d have done Wilson for KaneSenegal going full thug mode now, can see a few naughty tackles towards the end here
Where would you transplant the confidence from?I wish I could transplant “confidence”. I know that sounds ridiculous, I’ll qualify it. If we could play from the off against France with the belief we had when we went 1-0, we’d win the tournament.
Yes, I know this is the truth for every team, but England more than anyone. England out of all major nations are worst at game management. We start doing an impersonation of how the likes of Italy or Spain play, and are terrible at it because it’s just not us.
But bringing off the old guy is also a good move!!I’d have done Wilson for Kane
From when we went 1-0?Where would you transplant the confidence from?
Last time you tried this earlier, you got rinsed. I’m smarter, you can’t win.Where would you transplant the confidence from?
Where do they meet Brazil, in the final?I reckon whoever wins the QF with France will go on and win the tournament.
Oh and
As opposed to most PL/ENG players with eyes in their wallets and pants . . . . As soon as he gets cashed in to the PL he'll fall into line.Think what’s almost as impressive as Bellinghams ability is his brain, look at the positions he picks up… it’s like he’s got eyes in the back of his head.
Rinsed? Over what?Last time you tried this earlier, you got rinsed. I’m smarter, you can’t win.
Think so, yes.Where do they meet Brazil, in the final?
No, see you've got it completely wrong again. in previous tournaments we were naive, played gung-ho and pumped it forward. Cleverer oppponents played more patiently, took the sting out of us, we got frustrated an crumbled. Now WE are playing the intelligent game and credit to Southgate for identifying that and implementing itI wish I could transplant “confidence”. I know that sounds ridiculous, I’ll qualify it. If we could play from the off against France with the belief we had when we went 1-0, we’d win the tournament.

You constantly pick out my comments and challenge them, even if they’re simply “the sky is blue”. The last one was about Lloris on the penalty, a few hours ago, in this thread. I’m right every single time, if you read back. If you’re going to constantly challenge someone for frankly unknown reasons, I’m a horrible choice…Rinsed? Over what?
