Calderon goes down the wing again, again,
Calderon goes down the wing again, again,
We signed him up from sunny Spain
He gets the ball creates the game,
Inigo Calderon, Albion's 14.

at last people are trying to make an atmosphere would you rather we sat there in silence?

Total bollox, there was a lot of singing yesterday and fortunately good Albion songs as opposed to that rubbish

I hope it catches on much better than 'Insert name here Is a legend! Is a legend!'

Or 'Do do do do do insert name here'

How about:

When Calderon charges down the wing again, again
When Calderon charges down the wing again, again
When Calderon charges down the wing,
He loves to score and he loves to win
Can we all stand up for Inigo Calderon.

Gets ready to be flamed...

At least that scans, unlike the original effort which doesn't seem to fit the tune even slightly...

To be honest you must be thinking of a different tune, because it works perfectly!

So... When you say "Creates the Game" What exactly do you mean?
I suppose it could be 'creates again' but thats far too many agains.
If we are getting new songs, at least lets have them make sense.

It is only going to get worse with people banging on about having some form of Brighton Ultras.

Were you at the United Of Manchester away game?...They were trying to hand out song-sheets at that one and I am not joking!!! We do have some decent songs but if we are going to get more going then we should at least make them a little more original instead of re-hashing every other teams chants...Much like what the United Of Manchester fans have done.

I mean there are loads of clubs that sing that terrible 'Sloop John B' and there are some that want us to adopt! I was at Vicarage Road last season to watch Watford v West Brom and both sets of supporters were singing it...But then in a complete surprise and with some excellent originality the West Brom fans starting singing 'The Lord Is My Shepherd' which sounded great.

See people, we do not need just to copy everyone else, we too, can be original.

Albion & England forever.

Totally agree with that.

It was a little bit cringy hearing our fans try Sloop John B before kick off yesterday, as well as a reworked version of an Eric Cantona song the mancs were singing last week (drink a drink to Gus Poyet?).

A lot of discussion has been on here lately about the lack of chants. While that's true, ripping off other fans ideas isn't neccessarily the best way forward!

Don't ask me, I didn't create it, just heard it being sung yesterday!
